Warm weather, sunny days, clean and clear lakes and seas, good friends, off summer days, an amazing sand beach. Stop nagging. What would we expect more?
Let's make the most out of this heat wave and have a real summer picnic on an amazing sand beach.
Tylösand is the longest and biggest sandy beach on the west coast of Sweden. Tylösand has been named as Sweden's best beach on a number of occasions. It's an 8-kilometer long sand beach which offers a relaxed atmosphere where beach life combines with magical sea views and dunes.
We play music and dance. We play beach volleyball. We take some swims. Bring every kind of game you like and want to play.
Don't forget to bring your wide smile on your face and your warm heart in your chest. we truly and warmly take care of each other in our group. We try to have fun and try to make everyone feel warm-welcomed and involved.
You need to buy train tickets for this trip. Two ways it costs around 600 Sek.
We meet in central station at 9:30, in front of the track for Oresundtåg 1071 (direct one) towards Halmstad. It departs at 9:40.
It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to Halmstad.
Plus, 20 minutes by bus from Halmstad city center to the beach.
In the evening, we take the train at 5:56 (or 6:56) to get back to Göteborg. Will be back in Göteborg at 7:20 (or 8:20).
Take it easy and feel free to have your plans, to join or leave us at Tylösand whenever you want.
Bring enough water, tea, coffee, and food or snacks with you.
Don't forget, sunscreens, sunglasses, summer hat. Plus your picnic mat.
