Let's go to Hammarkullen and make this saturday super happier together, watching and enjoying the Hammarkullen Carnival.

Hammarkullen Grand Carnival is a must-see event.

This saturday Hammarkullen square will be again filled with carnival parades, musics , dances, and songs from almost all over the world.

A very well organized, colorful and happy event. The music and dance performances bring charm and beauty from different parts of the world.

The first spring carnival was held in 1974 and since has been an annual tradition that has evolved into a grand multicultural celebration.

with all the different nations, more than 30 dance group, dancing through the area.

We meet at Drottningstorget and take the tram to go to Hammarkullen.
It's a 10-minute ride to Hammarkullen.

Let's get together and go for medium-paced walk around Yxsjön.

We meet at Nordstan bus stop (läge D) at 10:30.

We take the bus X4 (at 10:40) towards Höga hallar to get to Höga hallar Bus stop. From there we start our walk towards the lake

It takes 30 minutes from Nordstan bus stop to get to Höga hallar bus stop.

You need to have Västtrafik tickets for zones A and B

The whole event might take 6 hours.

We'll be back in Göteborg at around 17:00.

The walk is more or less 3 hours or 14 kilometers.

Wear proper walking shoes and clothes. Be prepared for the rain and wind. The route is bumpy, hilly, sandy muddy and wet in some parts.

Bring your swim stuff if you want to take a dip in the water.

We take long breaks to take a dip in the water and play music to enjoy the summer vibes.
