Discover Bristol: Clifton Suspension Bridge and The Observatory

Details
Payment is in advance for this tour. Once you have booked your place on Meet Up, Steve will be in touch about paying the walk fee to secure your place.
Get your week off to a good start with two hours of guided walking in attractive surroundings with pleasant company.
The focus is very much on getting to know your fellow walkers, fresh air and gentle exercise. Exercise, socialising and learning are three out of the five steps to mental wellbeing.
On these Discover Bristol sessions Steve shares his extensive research on the wildlife, history, geography and geology of the city. There is also plenty of time to chat about random stuff that comes up along the way.
Our walk will take us across the Suspension Bridge to enjoy the view from both sides and along the Promenade as well as through the streets of Clifton.
We take coffee at the end of our Random Stuff walks. This time we will visit the Observatory Cafe.
This is a great opportunity for a bit of leg stretching and some tongue wagging along the way. Exercise, socialising and learning are three out of the five steps to mental wellbeing.
As is our custom a historical travelogue style article based on Steve's research notes will be sent out to participants after the event.
A Walk in the Past is a friendly group where regulars and newcomers are always welcome. Our aim is to combine a good walk with pleasant company in historic landscapes.
