Discover Bristol (Monday): Let's Explore Cotham Hill and Redland
Details
Monday morning at 11:00
Get your week off to a good start with two hours of guided walking in attractive surroundings with pleasant company. The focus is very much on getting to know your fellow walkers, fresh air and gentle exercise.
On these Discover Bristol sessions Steve shares his extensive research on the history, geography, wildlife and geology of the city. There is also plenty of time to chat about interesting finds that we discover along the way.
This week we are off to explore the streets and green spaces of Cotham Hill and Redland. Redland Green is a real treasure and there are plenty of historical stories to be found in the nearby streets.
We always visit a local cafe at the end of our Monday walks.
This is a great opportunity to start your week with a bit of leg stretching and some tongue wagging along the way. Exercise, socialising and learning are three out of the five steps to mental wellbeing.
A Walk in the Past is a friendly group where regulars and newcomers are always welcome. Our aim is to combine a good walk with pleasant company in historic landscapes.
