What we’re about
Grief support groups provide emotional support, validation, and education about grief. They provide a safe environment where one can tell his or her story and express feelings freely, knowing that others will be understanding, non-judgmental, and supportive.
This non-denominational faith-based grief support group is open to widows and widowers. The group will meet at least once a month on the first Wednesday evening, first in Zoom meetings and soon in combined gatherings and Zoom meetings. Whether you are a recent widow/widower, or have been for many years, this group is for you!
Being a widow/widower is a lonely walk. We will meet together to share fellowship and support for one another while studying words of encouragement from the Bible. We will also use resources from a number of grief and widow support groups to stimulate our discussions. Our goal is to help you take the next step in your walk with God and in healing broken hearts.
This grief support group is centered in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, and the gatherings will be held locally in conjunction with a Zoom meeting. Knowing, though, that people all around this country may be seeking help, an understanding and compassionate ear, their search for help will be treated with great care and security.
