Here's what we do at a Sweatitation Meet Up. We meet at Ultimate Fitness in American Canyon, a traditional gym, where they're playing loud music. Everyone is doing what they usually do at a gym, lifting weights, circuit training, doing a class or doing cardio on a cardiovascular exercise machine like a Tred Mill, Recumbent Bike or Ellipitical. The same thing we'll be doing together, but not like them. They will be watching TV, reading, talking, listening to music from an Ipod or other MP3 device, or all of the above. Any activity to prevent their utter boredom and to help make the time go by faster. Anything but being present to exactly what is going on with their body, their breath and their mind during their cardio session.

This is what Sweatitation, Meditation Redefined For Today's Mind is. Meditating in the midst of a loud gym, while performing cardiovascular exercise on an exercise machine at a comfortable pace, with your eyes closed and covered, breathing through your nose,(a yogic technique), while listening to music through an MP3 if you choose while totally relaxing the mind and body. The other people watching TV, reading, talking or all of the above don't know that while doing all of those activities with their eyes open of course, they are missing out on the opportunity to practice Sweatitation. To utilize their cardiovascular exercise session to go within, close their eyes, practice the yogic technique of nasal breathing and as a result experience the state of Alpha brain wave activity.

Unlike Beta brain wave activity which is common to all the activities with the eyes open I just mentioned, Alpha is found during sleep, deep states of relaxation, traditional meditation, yoga and of course Sweatitation. Yogi's have known of this state for centuries. In the West, Alpha is commonly known as The ZONE EXPERIENCE. The zone defined is: DYNAMIC ACTION AND COMPOSED SILENCE CO-EXISTING. You may have also heard it referred to as THE EXERCISE HIGH or THE RUNNER'S HIGH.

Alpha is characterized on an EEG by more coherent brain waves than Beta. Alpha produces a state of mind and body that are more relaxed and composed. When the brain is experiencing Beta, the mind is active and the body is active and the flow between the body and mind is restricted. This causes strain, boredom and the reason for lack of enjoyment during cardiovascular exercise and WHY most people just want to get their cardio over with. Or why some don't do cardio at all.

When the brain is in Alpha as a result of yogic nasal breathing and your eyes are closed, reflecting a quiet mind while the body is moving, your exercise experience will be from the inside out producing a heightened state of awareness, ease and comfort.

Imagine learning how to totally relax inside yourself while exercising in a heightened state of awareness, ease and comfort! Watching TV will pale in comparison to how you will feel when you become utterly compelled and fasinated by what is happening to you during a Sweatitaiton session, not to mention how you will feel afterwards! Totally energized yet calm. Something yogi's have been experiencing for centuries.

Sweatitation will tune you in to your mind, body and breath during cardiovascular exercise through yogic nasal breathing and focused attention helping you become completely relaxed and absorbed within your self so much so that you will feel like you're hardly working out. The Very Good News is that You Will Be Working Out and your body WILL change and you will look better and you will feel better and you will be happier.

With consistent practice of Sweatitaiton, Meditation Redefined For Today's Mind, "Work It In To Work It Out," your mind will open and when it does, watch out, you will finally know the secret and be on your way to becoming the best version of "You"on every level you've ever imagined. The real "You" that's always been buried deep within. The real "You" that will only be realized by going deep within.

Work it in and I promise you will work out whatever needs to worked out in your life.
