Intro to Whitewater Kayaking

Join Maine Kayak for a 3 hour introduction to the sport of whitewater kayaking on July 28th at 10:00 A.M. Whether you're looking to get into the sport or you are an existing kayaker looking to sharpen your skills. This course will be taught on land and in flat water. We will learn own to properly choose gear, outfit a kayak, wet exit on land and in the water and basic kayaking strokes and techniques.
The special intro to whitewater kayaking course will be offered at Colonial Pemaquid State Park in New Harbor from !0:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Price: $69 per person (boats & gear included)
After this course you can take it to the next level on our three day beginner whitewater kayaking course September 23rd - 25th, 2023 on the Penobscot River outside of Baxter State Park in Northern Maine.
