Melanie Sumner is a decorated, disabled military veteran who works at LinkedIn with a focus on accessibility in open source software and automated developer tooling. She is a member of the Ember.js core team and the W3C ARIA Working Group.

Title: Easy Chirp Innovation — the history of an accessible Twitter app

Dennis Lembree is the Director of Accessibility at Diamond Web Services. Previously, he worked for five years as Sr Accessibility Consultant at Deque Systems and several years on the PayPal and eBay accessibility teams. He also has experience at several start-up companies and contracted at large corporations including Google, Ford, and Disney.

Lisa Kamino is an Accessibility Analyst at Level Access. She first learned about contrast through her work with patients with visual impairments as an optometrist. She is passionate about using technology to improve accessibility for everyone.

Chance Strickland is an independent front-end developer with a decade of experience in design and client services. His mission is to create a better web that breaks down barriers, and to empower others to do the same.

7:10 pm — Lightning talks (each talk is 10-15 minutes)

8:15 pm — Socializing & networking using zoom breakout rooms, for anyone who wants to stay online and join in. (Optional.)
