For this event, we're highlighting the impact that design and development have on individuals with disabilities. In a hybrid panel, demonstration format, individuals with varying disabilities will demonstrate the challenges they face when interacting with web sites and mobile apps, as well as highlight some of the successes encountered. The hope is, attendees will gain accessibility-related insight and empathy that can be taken back to their digital projects.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is an annual event whos purpose is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) access/inclusion and people with different disabilities. For it's sixth year, GAAD is being selected around the world. Learn more about Global Accessibility Awareness Day: http://globalaccessibilityawarenessday.org/
