On Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), join us for a panel discussion/conversation with Fen Slattery, Keidra Chaney, and Santina Croniser, who will share their experience with invisible disabilities.

About the panelists:
Fen Slattery (they/them) is the Accessibility Lead at Clique Studios, where they build beautiful things and work towards a more inclusive digital world. As a web engineer, Fen seamlessly translates the needs of users into digital experiences that minimize barriers to access. As part of their advocacy work, they have spoken across the US to audiences of all skill levels, been featured on many panels about inclusion in the tech industry, and have spread their passion for accessibility in mentorship of web professionals. Fen is also a co-organizer for the Chicago-based Hivemind Press, where they write and publish zines.
Keidra Chaney (she/her) is a writer, essayist, nonprofit communications professional and co-founder/publisher of pop culture website “The Learned Fangirl.” She is a 2020 Fellow at the ADA 25 Advancing Leadership Institute, the only program in the country for emerging leaders with disabilities. She is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACCP) from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
Santina Croniser (she/her) recently became a Senior Accessibility Test Engineer at VMWare. Before joining VMWare, she worked with Level Access as a consultant with fortune 500 companies to improve accessibility compliance. As an accessibility specialist, she trained companies to incorporate accessibility into agile workflows, provided code remediation, and audited client products. Santina has worked in the field for over 10 years, is IAAP WAS certified, and is passionate about the intersectionality of disability and diversity.

We will update this page and post on social channels. We will monitor YTL chat if you have questions for the panelists, and we’ll do our best to relay to them during the discussion.

About recording and privacy:
When the Zoom opens, everyone's video camera and audio mic are muted by default. They can be un-muted by each individual's preference. Recording begins when YouTube Live is enabled at ~6:10pm.
