Join us on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 12:00 noon to explore why DV is key to making video accessible.
Joanne Henry, Founder and CEO of Lakeshore Media Services, will share information about the different kinds of described video (DV) and when they are used. She’ll also explore the question of quality - what it takes to create quality DV.
Joanne is a strong proponent of innovation and works closely with industry professionals to promote accessibility and inclusion. She contributed to the development of the Best Practice Guidelines for Post Production and Live DV (Audio Description). Joanne is also a professor with the Accessible Media Production Program at Mohawk College, where she teaches DV.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
