August Meeting - 5 Simple Rules for Accessibility

Hello all!

After a brief summer hiatus we are back and ready to continue our ongoing dialog about how to make technology accessible to everyone!

This month's meeting I'll be talking about the "5 Simple Rules" to make software accessible:

Making an application accessible can be a daunting task, especially if you are looking to add accessibility to an existing design. The question I hear most often when it comes to accessibility is, “Where do we start?”

This talk will take a look at how to make an application accessible by starting with some very basic things to think about. What we’ll discover how applications can become more usable for everyone by including considerations for how people interact with technology, regardless of ability or expertise.

We will be meeting in the Comcast Center in room 45A. I hope to see everyone!
