Melissa De Yoe is UX/UI Designer for San Diego based health and wellness software company, MediKeeper. While relatively new to her career in UX/UI Design, her professional background in customer service, project management and operations have primed her to consider granular details of a single stakeholders experience to big picture objectives of an organization. She will analyze "the UX domain" and shed light on how she balances usability & accessibility with wellness initiatives so people of all abilities can access better health.

Title: Accessibility Problems with Text Over Backgrounds

Kevin Berg is the Head of Solutions Engineering at Evinced, where he is dedicated to helping leading enterprises improve and accelerate their digital accessibility efforts. Kevin trained originally as a classical musician at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Texas, where he got his doctoral degree, then spent six years at Sauce Labs, a leading functional test automation platform, where he eventually led global solutions engineering before joining Evinced in a similar role. When he is not helping Evinced customers through challenges, Kevin is home in Montana making stuff (he is a hobby machinist), playing his oboe, and enjoying family life with his wife and two kids.

Kristin Patterson is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), an independent digital accessibility consultant, and a former Product Manager and mobile app user experience Strategist across global enterprise, agency, and startup environments.

Title: Inclusive Design and AAC ( Augmentative and Alternative Communication )

Yvonne (Yiwen) Hou is an accessibility enthusiast, currently a product designer at Cisco. She has a background in Cognitive Science, Design, and Human-Computer Interaction. You will understand what augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is, and hear about a design case study from her research at CMU Master of HCI. She will share practical research and co-design strategies that improve screen navigation efficiency for AAC users with cerebral palsy via head movement tracking.
