Oporto Inaugural MUG!

We're getting together for the inaugural Oporto MongoDB meetup at 18:30 on Tuesday, October 15th!

Whether you're just learning about MongoDB for the first time or whether you're a MongoDB ninja, we'd love for you to come out and hang with us for our first meetup. We've put together an event that will be a great experience for everyone!

The event is being hosted in the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (room I-105 (http://sigarra.up.pt/feup/pt/instal_geral.espaco_view?pv_id=74724)).

• 18:00: Snacks and refreshments

• 18:30-18:35: “What is the Oporto MUG and what you should expect from these sessions?” by Oporto MUG Organizers

• 18:35-19:35: “Welcome to MongoDB: From 0 to 100 in 1 hour” by Norberto Leite - Solutions Architect at MongoDB Inc.

• 19:35-19:50: “Visualizing an evolving online social network using the twitter stream” by Mário Cordeiro – PhD Student (ProDEI FEUP) and Senior Software Engineer at Critical Manufacturing

• 19:50-20h00: Closing and hanging out

We are also looking for additional speakers for following MUG meetings. In case you or your company is interested in sharing products, experiments or knowledge related with MongoDB, please contact one of the organization staff members to schedule a talk in one of the next sessions.
