Learn Haskell in 60 Minutes

Details

Our next meetup is scheduled for March 26 (NOT April!), and is entitled Learn Haskell in 60 Minutes (https://www.meetup.com/frontier-developers/events/169067772/), given by Brian McKenna (AKA @puffnfresh), Haskell guru, open source contributor, & author of the Roy programming language.

There are two critical reasons why you should come to this meetup:

• Haskell is the most influential functional programming language of all time, and despite being almost 25 years old, is still an order of magnitude more advanced than nearly every other programming language around. Even if you don't like functional programming or have no plans to use Haskell, learning Haskell will make you a better programmer -- guaranteed.

• I'll be ordering pizza from The Sink, which is perhaps Boulder's best pizza. Don't turn down this yummy, delicious change from the usual tastes-like-cardboard Blackjack Pizza fare. :-)

If you already know Haskell, come for the pizza and to heckle @puffnfresh!

Bring your laptops and download the Haskell Platform for your OS!!!

Schedule

Pizza & Socializing: 6:20 - 6:45

Session: 6:45 sharp
