Welcome to Spring Mosiac Making!

Spring is on its way, come celebrate your creativity with this special mosaic making event! Get inspired, create something from your heart to share with the people you love.

We will gather to discuss mosaic art, plan ideas for making a mosaic, and create a mosaic together! This group is for beginners, so don't worry if you've never made a mosaic before. It is easy to learn, and before you know it, your mosaic will come to life!!

I will teach you, step-by step, how to create a mosaic. We will all begin a small mosaic project together, you will choose from a picture frame, small wooden box, or framed mirror to mosaic on. I will also have some glass bowls, candle holders you can mosaic. We will mosaic for about 2 hours!

All supplies will be provided, and I will have my sample mosaics on display for idea generation. If you have a specific image you would like to draw to make into a mosaic, please bring it with you. You are welcome to bring any favorite tiles, broken dishes, beads with you, if you want to use them for your mosaic.

Mosaic making is a two step process, first you will create and glue down your mosaic design. Glue should dry for 24 hours before applying grout. In the next meet up, we will grout, clean-up and finish your piece.

Children comfortable working with glue and small pieces of tile/glass are welcome, with a parent present.
