Clojure formatter and roadmap for a2-clojure
Details
Jason Basanese will be giving a quick demo on a clojure formatter for those of us who do not think about formatting our code while we are writing it. Also a walk through the different methods of iteration in clojure and their use cases. Another section will be on how to handle state in clojure. Finally we will discuss the wonders of destructuring both associative and otherwise. Any tangents along the way will just add to the fun so feel free to come with questions!
As we are just getting this meetup started, we'll also be discussing the focus we want the group to take. Possibilities include: - Presentations of projects members are working on
- Lessons or workshops presenting different parts of clojure
- Working together to build something cool (pair programming?)
Whether you're a clojure pro, or just getting started, come down and visit! Our schedule is still pretty flexible -- if the third Tuesday is a conflict for you, send me a PM. If enough people are having trouble, we'll look at alternate dates in future months.
