Book Club Discussion

Hello everyone,

At the heart of the debate about the validity of all spiritual gifts in the church today are prominent pastors and bible scholars like John MacArthur (on the cessationist side) and Michael Brown (on the continuationist side). I’d highly recommend knowing the best arguments on your opposing side. For me, that has looked like watching the Strange Fire conference videos as well as listening to cessationists present their arguments in other contexts.

For our first event, I’d like us to read Authentic Fire by Michael Brown. Let’s start with the first 3 chapters, if we can manage that. I got my copy off Amazon.
