Annual Photografriends Cherry Blossoms at Fairmount Horticultural Center

Tentative Date...

I'm ready for the end of winter and the beginning of spring when the Cherry Blossoms bloom. This date is tentative, but this is an event that only happens once a year. Last year we flash mobbed the park with over 70 photographers and everyone had a great time.

This is one of the very few days of the year that I will move my entire schedule to catch this. It only takes one rainstorm or windstorm to rip the blossoms from the trees.

When the Cherry Blossoms explode, the color is amazing. If we can time the shoot with the Blossoms and some stunning skies, the results will be amazing...

I'm thinking that with the cold winter, the Cherry Blossoms will be late this year. Possibly the middle of April, but we should have about a weeks notice. I will be there at sunrise and have my favorite shots done before the meetup. Anyone else is welcome to accompany me on my early shoot.
