How Information Architecture can improve in SharePoint 2013 with Virgil Carroll
In this session, Virgil will walk attendees through the differences between 2007, 2010 and the new SharePoint 2013 from an information architecture perspective. He will identify the new and improved features set such as more flexible navigation structures, cross-site collection publishing, improvements to managed metadata and search. The discussion will wrap up with how businesses can use 2013 to support better user findability and putability.

After graduating from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with a degree in Sports Medicine and then attaining a Masters in Instructional Design from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Virgil decided to put his myriad talents to good use and formed High Monkey Consulting and is its Chief Primate (aka President).
When Virgil speaks technology he does it from a business person’s point of view. You won’t find his talks clouded with “tech geek” speak. Virgil has an expansive breadth of knowledge and speaks objectively about a variety of subjects.
