Hiking at Waterloo Rec

Details
I'm doing this hike on Saturday with my pack. This is actually a MAC event but it's not far from Ann Arbor. I thought I'd cross-post it in case some haven't joined MAC yet.
My phone number is 564-5187 (area code 734). Please use the comments to arrange carpooling.

Hiking and backpacking season is back upon us.
This hike shall take place at Waterloo Recreational Area near Chelsea. We will be meeting near the Gerald E Eddy Discovery Center. The hike will be about 8 miles. I will be carrying my loaded backpack so if you don't want me to feel like I am the only weirdo, then bring yours along. If you have any questions about backpacking, feel free to ask.

Click here (http://www.michigandnr.com/Publications/PDFS/RecreationCamping/waterloo_map.pdf) for a map of Waterloo Rec. Note, the meeting place is near the southeast end of this map. The area is just north of I-94 between exits 156 and 157.
There are three parking lots by the Discovery Center. We will be meeting in the first one you pass which is also the biggest. It is the one with a very prominent port-a-potty in it- it is the only one with a port-a-potty in it (yes, I pick the classiest spots).
Afterwards, we shall go to a fine establishment in nearby Chelsea and toast our accomplishments over a sudsy beverage. I am not sure on the place yet but they are all close by on Main Street and I will bring directions.
You do need a recreational passport on your license or they might charge you $10 (which is the cost of a passport). That is, if someone is manning the gates which is unlikely.
Have a question? Try this place (http://askthephysicist.com/) first. If that does not work than email or call me at 248-346-2351.
See you on Saturday,
Charlie
