Canton Grass Volleyball at FREEDOM Park, Thursday, June 12 CHECK LOCATION

The annual Canton Liberty Fest will be taking place starting this day. Our usual spots will probably be taken but thankfully there's other parks VERY close nearby we can play at! We'll be relocating to Freedom Park 3 minutes away. Traffic may be a little rough on Canton Center road though.

I have a single net and a couple of beach balls. If there are only 5 or 4 people signed up, I personally am prepared to play doubles but I know not everyone is comfortable with that. I only have 1 net though so I'm capping attendance at 14.

PLEASE PING ME IF YOU HAVE DOG ALLERGIES/AVERSIONS. I may bring my dog out if she's been well-behaved but will not if you don't want that for any reason.

BEGINNERS WELCOME. I can run other more specialized events on other dates but for now I want to be open to everyone. If you ARE a beginner I'll probably be giving you a pointer or 2 after every set - please be open to feedback, I'm not trying to single you out or put you down.

Rules:

1. Don't be a butt. The only prize you get for winning are high fives from the other team. The consolation prize will be the exact same thing. Be cool.

2. I haven't paid a ref. There is no one who is gonna hold you to a high standard with doubles, net touches, lifts, not passing to teammates, etc. If you want to get better at volleyball you should hold yourself to those standards though.

3. Be open and friendly. There are a lot of great people in this group that just wanna vibe after work. Be ready for positivity, encouragement, and constructive criticisms.
