Fall Frolic Signature Hike: Sunday, October 11th

Celebrate the season and join us for a guided hike at Sibley Prairie Nature Preserve - West Prairie. The Sibley Prairie has been in the news thanks to the Save Sibley Prairie Coalition’s efforts to preserve 440 acres just a few miles away. Come out to see what restored prairie habitat looks like in the Fall. We’ll walk about 1 mile through varied terrain and habitats, so be prepared for possible mud and variable fall weather. No pets please. Donations are welcome!
Pre-walk refreshments: 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Nature Walk: 2:00– 3:30 pm
Where: Sibley Prairie Nature Preserve - West Prairie, 26360 West Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48134 (do not park at the preserve, parking will be closed during the event)
Parking: SMLC is arranging for a shuttle service to and from Brownstown Township Hall: 21313 Telegraph Rd, Brownstown Township, MI 48183
Park at Township Hall and catch the shuttle to the preserve and back when the event is over.
