Ann Arbor New Tech Meetup

Details
This month you'll hear from four startups in the winter 2017 cohort at Desai Accelerator (http://desaiaccelerator.umich.edu/). 〽️ Hear their pitches before demo day! We'll cap off the event with a funded UofM startup making waves in bioinformatics.
Grab a seat early. We'll kick it off at 6:30 PM.
Also! Join us post-event at Pizza House and enjoy a few slices for free thanks to Ann Arbor SPARK. Economic Development requires collaboration, and Ann Arbor SPARK (http://www.annarborusa.org/) is committed to bringing together organizations and individuals to support the growth of companies and the creation of jobs.
Foodstand (https://www.thefoodstand.com/) - Rachna Govani - Foodstand is the gamified healthy eating behavior modification app designed to help you get (and stay) healthy for life.
ScoutDay (http://www.scoutday.co/) - Alex Tuccio - ScoutDay is Moneyball meets Snapchat. We are a private college athletics recruiting platform for premier athletes around the world. The platform is centered around an evaluation executed by professional scouts, who hand select players they deem qualified to play at the collegiate level.
Circadian Risk (https://www.circadianrisk.co/) - Daniel Young - Circadian Risk is creating software to assist companies in mitigating daily risks associated with criminal and terrorist events.
Warmilu (http://warmilu.com/) - Grace Hsia - Warmilu is a nonelectric warming medical device tech company. Our mission is to spread warmth to reduce infant death in resource-scarce settings, and support this social mission with sales in the developed world.
Parabricks (http://parabricks.com/) - Mehrzad Samadi - Parabricks accelerates data to insight for DNA analysis to finish in one hour instead of days, which enables research centers, labs and hospitals to diagnose and provide patient specific medicine and care.
