Ann Arbor New Tech Meetup

Details

Pricing, people, pathology- and platform-as-a-Service… That's what April's pitches are all about. ☔️ Learn from five Ann Arbor startup founders and meet some of the most creative entrepreneurs in Michigan at #a2newtech (https://twitter.com/search?q=a2newtech)!

Grab a seat early. We'll kick it off at 6:30 PM.

Also! Join us at Pizza House at 8 PM after the event and enjoy a few slices for free thanks to Ann Arbor SPARK. 🍕 Economic Development requires collaboration, and Ann Arbor SPARK (http://www.annarborusa.org/) is committed to bringing together organizations and individuals to support the growth of companies and the creation of jobs.

April 2017 presenters:

Simplifly (http://simplifly.io/) - Thom Malone - Simplifly has created an algorithm that finds mistakenly priced airfares, and notifies users of that mistake, allowing them to book flights at a fraction of the original price.

re:purpose (https://repurpose.co/) - Ryan Landau - re:purpose is a curated marketplace that matches talent with startup companies.

Adjacent (http://www.adjacent.us/) - Rachel Jaffe - Adjacent is a virtual, crowd-sourced incubator that helps emerging entrepreneurs find a team of cofounders and advisers, validate their ideas, and build their venture with a personalized community.

Slideless (http://www.slideless.co/) - David Bloom - Slideless uses Supercomputer-in-the-Cloud technology to deliver high-performance virtual microscopy applications, from cancer research and medical education to Digital Pathology-as-a-Service.

Aptible (https://www.aptible.com/) - Frank Macreery - Aptible is a secure PaaS that helps tech companies simplify their devops workload, while achieving and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

All pitch slots are full for this month. Want to pitch in May or June? Please email organizers@a2newtech.org .

Our monthly meeting format: Five presenters this month take the stage for ten minutes each, five minutes to demo and five minutes to answer questions, followed by open announcements and community networking.

Never been to a2newtech before? Here's a recording of last month's meetup (https://www.meetup.com/a2newtech/events/235577185/), where we got to hear from the latest Desai Accelerator cohort of startups. 〽️ (It was even better in-person!)
