First Pebble Meetup - Hello NYC!

Hello NYC Pebble Community!

Thank you for joining us for the first event of Pebble's new NYC Meetup group! This group will primarily focus on developers but all are welcome to join us and have fun!

With the imminent arrival of Pebble Time we want everyone to show off your color watchapps and watchfaces! We'll have time for our developers to take 2 mins and show off what they have been working on in color on the new SDK 3.0. Kat and Łukasz from Pebble are visiting from California and will have a Pebble Time for you to load your app onto, and the best app will win a Pebble Time of their own to continue development on! There's also some swag in it for all who demo, so get building with the emulator (http://cloudpebble.net/)!

The location has now been confirmed, thanks to our hosts at Grovo (http://www.grovo.com)! Walk-ins start at 6:30pm and the program will start at 7:00pm sharp. Be sure you're on time! You don't want to miss anything :)

Food (from nuchas (http://www.nuchas.com/)) and beer/soda will be provided by Pebble!

• Talk by Kat from Pebble about Pebble Time and how to get started developing

• Talk by Yuriy Galanter (https://twitter.com/YGalanter) about using his EffectLibrary to create amazing watchfaces

• Developer demo challenge for the best color watchapps and watchfaces (2 mins max: just you, a PebbleCam to demo your Pebble on the projector, and a microphone!)

• Short Talk by Alesandro about Grovo (http://www.grovo.com)
