Web Fundamentals: HTML & CSS for Beginners

Rob is a co-organizer of WP Omaha and owner of Bizzle Designs in Omaha. He was also a speaker at WordCamp Omaha earlier this year. Oh, and he's a WHIZ at CSS!

DETAILS:
If you can understand HTML markup and know a few CSS rules, you can shift, turn, hide, recolor, resize, and even animate just about ANYTHING on your site.

CSS is NOT programming - it is simply describing a list of rules that the page needs to follow. Some of the things we'll cover include:

• Targeting - Elements, IDs, and Classes
• Understanding Style Rules and their values
• Specificity - Cascading Style Sheets

• Positioning Elements - Yes, it can be tricky
  • Interactivity
  • Animation
