Late in September, we’ll do our traditional “Lunch and a Matinee” with Lunch (skipped due to low attendance), and then we’ll see Chess the Musical at Wilmington Drama League on Sunday September 23rd at 2PM. This show is rated “PG / PG-13.” Feel free to just join us in the theatre! I’ll be trying to get to the theatre around 1:30PM, and will be holding a Meetup sign at both locations.

If you want to sit nearby in the theatre, my seat is Row: H Seat: 15. Tickets are fairly open for the show at this point, but that may change as the show gets closer. Buy tickets online through the Wilmington Drama League's ticket seller, ShowTix4U.

From the producer of the show, the synopsis:
Chess features a winning combination of music, lyrics and book by members of ABBA and Tim Rice (of The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita fame, among many others) while chronicling a love story amidst cold war politics and international chess competition.
