Flathead Valley Geospatial Meetup

We are excited for another Flathead Valley Geospatial Meetup after a long time away. Tim Eichner will give us an opportunity to experience Flathead Valley Community College's new augmented reality sandbox! It is an exciting immersive technology designed to help users understand topography and landscape features as portrayed on a map. Landscapes are sculpted in the sand, captured by a 3D sensor, and contour lines and a digital elevation model are rendered in near real-time on the sand's surface. We will also hear about FVCC's new geospatial certificate program starting this fall.
