WPNI September Monthly Meetup

WPNI (WordPress Northern Ireland) meets every 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Event Space, within Farset Labs, Belfast.

We start at 6:30pm and run till 9pm.

Our Meetups will have the following sessions:

6:30pm – 7:15pm General Topic Session
7:15pm – 8:00pm Break for food, drinks and general Q&A session
8:00pm – 9:00pm Technical Session

We are always looking for topics that people want to discuss. If you have a question or something you want to learn about, please comment below or use the discussion board and we will do our best to accommodate your questions!

General Session : WordPress Troubleshooting

Bring any WordPress questions along and we'll work together to try and find a solution for your problems!

Technical Session : How to edit your WordPress site, without risking your live site

Following on from last month, this month's topic is all about being able to modify your site without the worry of breaking your live site.

We will discuss the options available and how to use them.

This talk should tailor to all levels of ability, and will cover options such as running a second copy of your site on your server or running a local copy of your website on your machine with tools like XAMPP (https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html) or Vagrant (https://www.vagrantup.com/).
