Stephanie & Matt will speak to us about the Healing Vibrations of Drumming.

All things are connected in the Universe. At it’s very basic level everything is energy and vibration. To understand vibration and sound healing, it requires us to take a broader view of our overall beliefs on how healing manifests. It encourages us to go beyond the Western materialist medical model to combine it with a more encompassing model of how we can heal ourselves through shifting our thoughts, actions, beliefs and our environment.

Some benefits of drumming:

Assists with group and community communication ** Helps the individual improve confidence in communicating ** Reduces tension, anxiety and stress ** Increases self esteem ** Boosts the immune system ** Creates a sense of connectedness with self and others ** Increases the connection to the greater spirit of all ** Helps us experience being in resonance with the natural rhythms of life ** Helps control chronic pain ** Releases negative feelings, blockages and emotional trauma ** Provides a medium for individual self-realization Integrates the left and right brain through creating patterns ** Induces alpha-theta brain states associated with healing

** Is overall just FUN!

Following introductions and the presentation, we will break up into small groups or one-on-one for mini healing sessions.
