New Years Fireworks 2011

Photographic Adventures presents the first MeetUp, workshop, and photo-shoot event of the 2011 year. This event will start out on the night of December 31st and stretch into January 1st to kick off the New Year!! This is another free event…just show up and participate!!! This will be a two part series to create the image shown for this MeetUp date. On this day, or night, we will only be doing the shooting part of the event. Bring your cameras, bring your lenses, bring your champagne glasses!!! Other suggested items are warm clothing, cable releases, and tripods. Film and/or media cards are a must…not a suggestion.

We will be meeting at the top of the parking garage at the airport. The earlier we can all get there the better. We will all get set up and ready for the fireworks. If you get there early, everyone can park and be close together. Again we will be at the top of the garage on the North side facing the Las Vegas Strip.

The image you see posted here was a panorama shot made up of three separate images...combinded together but not stitched. This will be a dicussion group in a photoshop class down the line.

the lense that I was using was mostly my 70-200 but most of my images were in the 70 to 105 range.

therefore I would say anyone with a lense ranging from 50 up will be able to get some images out of this photoshoot.
