"I was fortunate enough to go to Opel McCracken’s funeral..
It was a beautiful day and a very nice send off. At the end Peggy Kunsman asked some people who were there to come by her house and play music. One of the highlights for me was when Peggy played a song her mother passed on to her, Little Green Valley - and before she played the song, she told us, the only other person she ever heard play that song was Opel. Well, smiles filled the room as Peggy played the song, and since I had never heard that song before, it was being passed on to me."
