1. Presentations

-> Jan Jongboom (Telenor Digital, Norway)

Jan works on Mozilla's open web technologies-based smartphone OS, Firefox OS - and leads the research of Telenor Digital's "Experimental Engineering" project (Codename ["Gonzo"]( http://ee.telenor.no )) which tries to push both Mozilla's new operating system & the low-cost hardware its built upon to the limit. You might have seen his talks at JSConf EU/Asia as he strips phone hardware down to the bare chips and - and slamming onto them his own "JanOS" build, unleashes the power of the web on the unsuspecting hardware!

The insecurity of things - Privacy and security considerations around IoT and wearables.
By creating more connected devices and more sensors, we inevitably produce vast amounts of data - the least we should do is understand what this data is and what can be made out of it.
