I know, "30 days hath September". I missed scheduling the first Tuesday in October by this much.

I wouldn't ask anyone else to prepare a presentation for a non-standard second Tuesday, so here's a buffet of topics we can cover in one session next week.

A last taste of MVC

My planned August simple-MVC presentation was still only an outline at meeting time, but our conversation and your comments inspired me to shrink my framework further for my latest project.

So I'll do a brief, formal presentation of my even-smaller base MVC framework. And put it online for people who can't make second Tuesdays.

A little Raspberry Pi

There's been a lot of buzz about these devices. As an old fan of minimal computers, I've been fiddling around with one of them.

What does this have to do with PHP and the web? There are a variety of ways to configure a Pi as a web server. And a variety of ways to connect one to sensors and other peripheral devices. But except for some web cams (a pretty cool idea in 1991) I'm not seeing a lot of real web-based Pi applications yet.

So lets pass mine around and talk about existing and/or potential web applications for Pis and/or small, low-power devices like them.

Menu planning

We've covered a lot of back-end topics recently. Time to switch to some design and UI? Let's brainstorm topics and presenters.
