Want to take on a fashion editorial style shoot but not sure where to start or source all the elements of production? Here you will be given time to play and experiment with your take on shooting multiple looks from a new and exciting fashion designer FREYA THOMAS TAYLOR.
Only 3 ticket spaces , max 30-40 minutes per look of shooting time with experienced models in the London dance and performance industry. Plus a considered artistic set design by contemporary multidisciplinary artist & set designer Matthew Lawrence, who will be guiding you through the session. Continuous lighting is available to use, if you wish to use flash we suggest you bring your own equipment.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
This collection is the birth of a longstanding fascination with motherhood, focusing on the act of conception, pregnancy, birth and mothering. Family of the 'unhinged' exposes the current and past roles that women hold in families and frames a dystopian world in which these four characters thrive despite the power that men hold over them. This body of work takes reference from arthouse films and literature such as The Holy Mountain' by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale', exploring cults, religion, royalty and power dynamics. Each character has a significant part to play in the portrayal of this army of women.
The protagonist of this story is the wet nurse of many, a nurturing and maternal figure. She has the ability to feed and raise many babies with her six breasts, She is a sacred, pure creature, worshipped by all. The wet nurse's role is hugely important in the survival and development of babies. Although caring for babies brings her joy, she is very aware that this responsibility has been forced upon her by the patriarchy. This obligation is one that carries great trauma, she is seen as an ethereal blessed being, but she has no choice when it comes to her life. She can either live and continue to provide care for the babies, or refuse to be controlled and she will be killed by the very system meant to protect her.

Our model for this session will be ceo of J'adore La Vie Cabaret Janet Mayer who's renowned model & performance credits include Jean Paul Gaultier, Royal Windsor Castle, Vogue, Def Leppard, Harrods, the V&A Museum, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, Cannes film festival and Selfridges to name just a few. She also most recently just featured in the UK number one hit single ‘Unholy’ by Sam Smith & kim Petras .
Co Founder of J’adore La vie London's high fashion cabaret Janet Mayer began her career in 2010 after she graduated from The Hammond School in Chester with a National diploma in Professional dance. Following further training she later graduated from Middlesex University London with a BA Honors in Professional Practice of the Arts and has over 10 years experience as a professional dancer & model with an outstanding performance career.
Her talents have taken her all over the world performing on leading Designer Runway Shows, appearing on International campaigns, Music Videos, Commercials, TV Shows, Live Theatrical Performances, Cruise Ships, Casinos, Festivals, and Trade/ Corporate events.
