BikeMS - a ride to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis Research

Each year, many of us ride to raise funds for a cause that's important to us. We have formed a team and signed up for BikeMS to raise funds to fight MS and help those who have it. Please join us!

The Ride - a challenging 100 mile day (there's a great 65 mile option http://img2.meetupstatic.com/48961800108910343402/img/smileys/laughing.gif) in the beautiful south Willamette Valley between Salem and Corvallis. Very low traffic, wonderful scenery, great ride support and a change from the usual Portland area rides. The event is on August 3rd. The Goal - The National MS Society asks each rider to raise at least $250 in donations to combat this disease. Robin Smith, John Hall, Meredith Peake and I have committed to this exceeding this goal. We would love to have more members on our team!

Apparently there is some connection to the horrible high rates of MS and the Northwest. We are participating in Bike MS to raise money to make a difference and need your help.
