Put in some dirt time

Details
The plan:
Meet in the grassy part to the east of York rd. We will briefly go over the responsibilities of a forager then split into groups. We'll put some foragers with more experience with those of less or no experience. When we split up with our groups I would like every group to go in a different direction on a different trail. Your group doesn't need to identify and go over everything while on the trail. The idea this time is to collect good specimens and bring them back to our meeting spot to identify and share them. Bring back what ever you think is interesting or you know is an edible or medicinal. If you don't know what some of the plants you bring back are, we will work as a group to try to ID the plant, if someone in the group can't already. We will do about two hours of exploration.Be able to ID poison ivy and poison oak.
I would like to encourage car pooling if possible. It will be hard to find parking for everyone and it is a bit out of the city. If you need a ride send me a message and I will see if I can pair you up with someone in your area.
Dress in preparation of rocky hills, tics, poison ivy, long grass, chiggers, briars, stickers, hitch hikers, joggers, beaver attack and elves.
Bring with you:
Drinking water
Decent shoes for in the woods (that can also get wet)
Bag and/or basket for collecting
Scissors or snips
Field guides
Camera
Note book
A couple new ideas:
Wear name tags
Bring a camp stove and some prep foods
