New sunset hike particularly for you late risers :)
Bring your pillow for the train home!

Join us for this classic walk in the South Downs National Park for the Sunset!!!*
This is one of the most magnificent and justifiably well-known 13-mile walk along the South Downs way. This is the classic version of the Seven Sisters starting from Eastbourne ending in Seaford.

WHAT TO EXPECT - HIKING INFO
Distance: 20km
Ascent: c.550 metres
Estimated Duration (approx): 5-6 hours walking
Difficulty: Moderate/Energetic

Meeting Point: London Victoria Station, in front of the ticket machines where the Benches are (see pic in URL), and I'll send a photo of the location on the morning of the event in the Whatsapp group.

Assembly Time: 14:00
Move to the departure platform at 14:15
The train departs at 14:24
The train arrives at EASTBOURNE at 15:51

- Sunset: 21:10 (Seaford side near start of Seven sisters)
- We'll aim for the 21:53 train back to London to arrive at Victoria 23:36 (try and sleep on the train back!)

In Eastbourne we can either explore, visit a pub or decide to return to London straight away. Those who decide to join the hike, please consider yourself committed for the entire day.

Cliffs
The Seven Sisters Cliffs are surprisingly fragile and at constant risk of collapse. Please refrain from getting close to the edge (ideally 3 metres)

• £30 per person – includes hike + train travel. Book by 11:59 PM on Tuesday before the event to guarantee your spot at this £30 discounted price - after this time there might or might not be limited £30 tickets left upon checking event.

• Guided Hike planned and led by experienced AAA leaders, trained Summer Mountain Leader with Wilderness First Aid Training.

CANCELLING/REFUNDS

Please update your RSVP to say ‘No’ if your plans change. Others can then take advantage of the newly available place.
Let the organiser know via a meetup message when have RSVP’d ‘No’
If the hike is full, please email info@aaalondongroup.com after the event and request a refund, less the PayPal/Meetup fees. You must provide your email for the PayPal account and transaction reference.
