Here, nature reigns supreme. The mountains, goats, sheep, donkeys, and wild boar roam freely through forests of strawberry trees, holly oaks, and ancient oaks. Overhead, the majestic royal eagle soars, nesting on the highest peaks and guarding this pristine paradise.

ITINERARY
The event starts on Sunday, 27 September, at the Olbia airport at 12:20 and finishes there on Friday, 2 October, at 14:45.

Olbia
The ancient Greeks called it olbìa - ‘happiness’. It is the gateway to the island and the driving force behind the economy of the Gallura area. Many flights arrive there, and it is a good town to stay in and explore before or after the trip.

What We'll Explore
During our four full days in Sardinia, we'll discover some of the island's most spectacular landscapes, hidden gems and breathtaking coastal scenery. Our itinerary combines natural wonders, picturesque villages, scenic walks and time to relax by the sea.

La Maddalena Archipelago National Park
Established in 1994, the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park is one of the Mediterranean's most beautiful protected areas. Comprising a collection of granite islands and islets off the northeastern coast of Sardinia, the park is renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine beaches and remarkable marine biodiversity. This unique landscape is home to some of the most unspoilt coastlines in Italy and plays an important role in protecting the region's delicate marine ecosystems.

Capo Testa
At the northern tip of Sardinia lies Capo Testa, a spectacular granite headland famous for its extraordinary rock formations, sculpted over thousands of years by wind and sea. Surrounded by dazzling turquoise waters, the area offers dramatic coastal scenery, hidden coves and panoramic views towards Corsica. We'll enjoy a scenic walk here, followed by time to relax and swim during our lunch break.

Bonifacio, Corsica, France
Weather permitting, we'll take the one-hour ferry across the Strait of Bonifacio to visit the remarkable town of Bonifacio, perched dramatically on towering white limestone cliffs at the southern tip of Corsica. Its medieval citadel, charming narrow streets and picturesque harbour make it one of the Mediterranean's most captivating destinations. The surrounding coastline is equally impressive, with dramatic cliffs, sea caves and protected marine landscapes.

Bear Rock (Roccia dell'Orso)
One of northern Sardinia's most iconic landmarks, Bear Rock is an enormous granite formation overlooking the town of Palau and the Strait of Bonifacio. Over countless centuries, wind and rain have naturally sculpted the rock into the unmistakable shape of a standing bear gazing out across the sea. It is one of the island's most photographed viewpoints.

Porto Rafael
We'll also visit the charming seaside village of Porto Rafael, an elegant yet peaceful resort overlooking the La Maddalena Archipelago. With its whitewashed villas, crystal-clear coves and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, Porto Rafael offers a quieter and more authentic alternative to the glamorous Costa Smeralda. Its picturesque piazza and beautiful coastal setting make it one of Sardinia's hidden gems.

Punta Sardegna
Just a short distance from Porto Rafael lies Punta Sardegna, a magnificent granite promontory offering some of the finest panoramic views in northern Sardinia. We'll walk to the picturesque Punta Sardegna Lighthouse, built in 1913 and perched high above the sea on dramatic granite cliffs. From here, you'll enjoy unforgettable views across the La Maddalena Archipelago, the Strait of Bonifacio and, on clear days, the mountains of Corsica.

A Flexible Itinerary
Our itinerary includes all of the highlights listed above, with the exact daily schedule shared closer to departure. Each day is carefully planned and may be adjusted according to the latest weather forecast, allowing us to make the most of Sardinia's spectacular landscapes and ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

LOCATION
We will be based in Santa Teresa Gallura. It is a coastal town in northern Sardinia, located near the Strait of Bonifacio. It is famous for its white-sand beaches, clear waters, and a lively town centre dominated by the Spanish-era Longonsardo Tower.
Spiaggia Rena Bianca beach is a stunning stretch of powder-white sand in the heart of Santa Teresa Gallura, celebrated for its luminous turquoise waters and exceptional clarity. Framed by rocky headlands and opening onto breathtaking views of Corsica, the beach offers a picture-perfect Mediterranean setting that feels both elegant and inviting. Its calm, shallow sea and natural beauty make it one of northern Sardinia’s most captivating coastal gems.
