Guildford Circular: Rivers, woodland and hilltop panoramas
Details
Join us on a beautiful circular walk from Guildford, following the slow-flowing River Wey before climbing to St Martha’s Hill for sweeping Surrey Hills views.
We’ll continue along the Pilgrims’ Way, through woods and fields along an ancient track used by medieval travellers, catching glimpses of the Downs as we go.
The final section will lead us through Walnut Tree Bottom, a sheltered, tranquil stretch that contrasts with the earlier vistas, before guiding us back into Guildford for an option drink and/or food in a riverside pub.
