DESCRIPTION
Join us for an exhilarating group hike from scenic coastal town of Hasting to the historic town of Rye. This picturesque journey will take us through some of southern England’s most stunning landscapes, blending charming countryside, rolling hills, and breathtaking sea views.

Highlights:
• Vibrant seaside town of Hastings, known for its historic Old Town and fresh seafood.
• Walk along the beautiful coastline, passing through Hastings Country Park.
• Enjoy panoramic views from the Ridge near Winchelsea.
• Explore the medieval streets and ancient buildings of Rye.

Distance: 20km route
Ascent: c.373 metres
Estimated Duration (approx): 5 hours walking
Difficulty: *Moderate

PROGRAMME
Meeting Point: Hastings Station 10:10.
I'll be getting the Train from Stratford International station at 08:48 which arrives at Hastings: at 10:10.
Aiming to get the 16:48 train from Rye to Stratford at arriving at 17:46

COST
The cost is £10 per person. for hike only. You’d need to buy train tickets based on the above times. Please take care to look as train times and routes can change. Events can be moved or cancelled if there are low numbers too.

• Guided Hike planned and led by experienced AAA leaders, trained Summer Mountain Leader with Wilderness First Aid Training.

• Waterproof jacket and trousers (Please no jeans!)

• Warm/Windproof layer, e.g. Down/Primaloft/Fleece

CANCELLING/REFUNDS
Please update your RSVP to say ‘No’ if your plans change. Others can then take advantage of the newly available place.

If the hike is full, please email info@aaalondongroup.com after the event and request a refund, less the PayPal/Meetup fees. You must provide your email for the PayPal account and transaction reference.
