HIGHLIGHTS
- Summit parts of the Cullin Mountains (approx 986m), take routes from Glen Brittle so we can enjoy the coastal views.
- Explore the iconic Old Man of Storr (719m) and the Quiraing Needles
- Take a short hike to explore the Fairy Pools and take a dip if you dare!
- Visit the strange landscape of Fairy Glen and marvel at the Mealt Falls that drop 55m into the sea.
- Take a low-level walk along the Rubha Hunish coastline, the northern point of the Isle.
- Hike Glen Sligachan to Sgurr na Stri (494m) and enjoy views of Loch Coruisk.
- Relax after a hike with some Whisky tasting at the Sligachan Hotel, located next to the picturesque 18th-century bridge with the Cullin Ridge in the background.
- Visit Neist Point Lighthouse and the Coral Beaches for those picture postcard moments.

WHAT TO EXPECT
AAA has hosted Hiking Weekend events for over 17 years. As a result, we have a wealth of experience, ensuring you enjoy some great hikes and food.

HIKE GRADES
You will have a choice of hikes, ranging from Moderate to Energetic. When we have 2 or more leaders, we also offer Challenging routes.
You can choose between shorter hikes of around 12 km and longer, more demanding hikes of 18 km.
AAA leaders have extensive navigational and hike-leading experience and are trained in wilderness first aid.

ITINERARY
The trip starts at Inverness Airport on Thursday, 14.05, at 14:45.
We have organised transfers from Inverness Airport at this time. The journey takes around 3 hours, including stops to enjoy the beautiful Scottish landscape and sights. If your scheduled arrival is later than the transfer to the hotel, you will need to make your arrangements.
We will drop you off at Inverness Airport on Monday, 18.05, at 13:45.

You can choose any other flights or trains to Inverness, just make sure you are in time for the pickup. Do not get any flights back to London earlier than 15:45.
ACCOMMODATION
We will be based in twin rooms at the Tongdale Hotel. This place has a long tradition in island hospitality, having been owned and operated by the same family for over 50 years.

FOOD
Scotland is well known for its seafood and hearty cuisine. We will be hosting 2 dinners & can assist with selecting other venues for dinner.
