Charity Christmas walk for Shelter through iconic London after work!

Join us for this unique wander around London's iconic river landmarks and a drink afterwards to kick off the festive season!

We have partnered with the homeless charity Shelter to offer a unique AAA event that will give you the chance to stroll along the banks of the River Thames and connect/re-connect with AAA members, all while contributing to the work of a fantastic well-established charity

You will need to register with Shelter separately to take part in this event and pay the £10 donation to them.

Shelter would also like you to raise sponsorship. While this isn’t compulsory, experience has shown that it is pretty easy to do.

DISTANCE

You can choose between 5.5km and 10km. The route is similar - those doing 5.5km just cut a bit out. Most of us will walk 10km, but sign up for what you can!

HOW TO SIGN UP

• Sign up and pay £10 to Shelter here. YOU NEED TO DO THIS TO TAKE PART! Select the 6.30pm time slot, so we are all together.
• Register on the event with AAA below for just £1. The £1 fee will be given to Shelter as a donation and is needed as a way of confirming your inclusion with our group.
• In the AAA sign-up form, provide your phone number, so we can invite you to a WhatsApp Group for the evening, This this is optional, but MeetUp messaging is temperamental, so it's the best way to stay in touch. We promise to keep messaging to a minimum and you can leave the Group after the event!

• Food and drinks
• PayPal fees

BRING

• Suitable shoes for walking
• Water and snacks
• Gloves
• Waterproof jacket

CANCELLING/REFUNDS

If you can no longer join the event, please message the Host listed on here, and update your RSVP status to 'Not going', to allow others to take your place. As this is a charity event and we are only asking for a £1 donation, no refunds will be payable for this event.

ABOUT AAA

We have operated over 1,000 events without significant incidents in the last ten years, achieved through meticulous planning.
