From the River Ouse to the South Downs: A classic circular ramble from Lewes
Details
Join us for a refreshing circular walk from Lewes, following the scenic River Ouse and the South Downs Way. We’ll enjoy gentle, flat walking beside the river, surrounded by rolling hills, before a gradual climb through open chalkland leading us to sweeping views across the Sussex countryside, before returning to Lewes. All in all, a lovely Saturday stroll with fresh air, great views, and good conversation in the heart of the South Downs, rounded off with a drink or two in a cosy pub.
