Steam trains, film locations, narrow valleys and hidden villages of Kent
Details
Join us for a memorable countryside walk from one of the largest villages in the heart of an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' on the edge of Ashdown Forest. This inspiring route will explore a rolling countryside of narrow valleys, open fields and ancient woodlands, ideal for a refreshing March walk as spring begins to emerge. We’ll visit a classic English village with a church and colourful weather-boarded houses, and pause for lunch at a welcoming farm shop. The walk will also take in Groombridge Place – a beautiful moated estate and film location for Pride and Prejudice – follow a steam railway line, and finish with the option of a well-earned drink at a beautiful country pub.
