Wild heathland, blooming gorse and quiet woodland of the Serpent Trail
Details
Join us to walk parts of Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the Serpent Trail on this beautiful hike combining scenic views, heathland and quiet woodland on undulating paths.
We’ll start by crossing open spaces dotted with gorse and heather with views across the western Weald, before climbing the low points of Iron Hill and Combe Hill. We’ll then connect with the Greensand Ridge linking a series of commons, before passing through the heathland, heather and pines of Marley Common on our way to Haslemere for an optional well-earned drink.
