An evening riverside ramble from Carshalton to Colliers Wood
Details
Join us for a fun early summer evening jaunt along the River Wandle as a perfect way to walk off the working week, breathe some fresh spring air, and enjoy good company before the last day of the week. The route is flat and gentle, following the river through peaceful green spaces and quiet paths. We’ll end at Abbey Mills, where we can toast our efforts with a well-earned drink (or two) before heading home easily by tube.

Distance: 8km/5 miles linear route
Duration: 2 hours walking
Ascent: Virtually none
Grade: Beginner – flat, along good paths.

Hike start: 6.20pm Carshalton Train Station
Hike finish: 9pm Colliers Wood Tube Station / Pub at Abbey Mills
Both stations are in the Oyster/Contactless Zone

CANCELLING/REFUNDS
If you can no longer join the hike, please message the Host listed on here, and update your RSVP status to 'Not going', to allow others to take your place. If the hike is full, and you have messaged us and have changed your RSVP to 'Not going', we will refund you, less the PayPal/Meetup fees. To obtain this, please email info@aaalondongroup.com after the event, with the email address you use on your PayPal account and transaction reference. If the hike is not full, unfortunately we will not be able to provide any refund.
