Debugging and Performance Analysis

Let's discuss tools and techniques for debugging and performance analysis. Brad will start the conversation by showing ways to analyze last month's simple streams code (https://github.com/indyscala/simple-streams) to better understand how it behaves. The list of tools is still in flux, but expect to see a profiler, possibly some flame graphs (http://www.brendangregg.com/blog/2014-06-12/java-flame-graphs.html), and perhaps a tool or two to capture runtime metrics.
