Understanding Spark Streaming

Apache Spark is one of the hottest technologies out there. In this meetup we will explore Spark Core and Spark Streaming in particular.

Speaker: Sridhar Alla, works as Director of Solutions in Comcast and has previously presented at several conferences including Strata and Spark summits

We are also getting a guest speaker from comcast, Subhankar Dey (Principal Engineer) who is very experienced in Spark Streaming and has built systems to process 1000s of real time STB events per second.

We also have another speaker Shekhar Agarwal (Director of Data science) who will also speak on his experience with Spark for real applications.
