For this month's topic, we'll discuss gratitude in difficult and uncertain times.

At this time of year when we gather to give thanks, is it even possible? Or can it be helpful -- and healthy -- to practice some gratitude in 2020?

The pandemic continues to perpetuate isolation, privation and suffering in a difficult and depressing year. But as we approach the year's end, there may be some reasons for gratitude and abiding hope — democracy, however imperiled, holds; and science provides some meaningful breakthroughs! We'll talk about them.
